$1,000 Sign-on Bonus! 

The Triage Coordinator will serve as a key member of the Emergency Service Team to provide the smooth coordination and delivery of crisis services. 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Triage phone calls and provide support and counseling to clients, families, and community referrals in need of ESP assistance and/or evaluations         
  • Assist clinicians in performing bed searches for clients awaiting placement for a higher level of care 
  • Ability to navigate medical record system (Avatar) for each referral as a standard practice (Updating/adding clients, scanning of paper documents, adding Alerts, Service Addendums, and Final Dispositions 
  • Provide information and referrals to phone contacts 
  • Gather appropriate risk information and direct clients, families, and community members in accessing and utilizing supports 
  • Consult with Director or Assistant Director regarding high risk cases and conflict resolution when deemed necessary 
  • Assist in provision of follow-up treatment including the scheduling of follow-up emergency services appointments and completion of paperwork related to triage activity 
     

Available Schedules:

Monday & Friday 7am - 7pm; Wednesday overnight 7pm - 7am (36 hours)

Friday, Saturday, Sunday 7am-7pm (36 hours)

Hourly: $19.23 
 

There is shift differential payment of an additional $3/hour for hours worked within the time periods below. 

· Weekdays: 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. 

· Weekends: 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. and 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. 

(All hours worked from Friday at 8 p.m. through Monday at 8 a.m.) 
 

Our health insurance becomes effective the 1st of the following month after date of hire.

Required Skills

  • Knowledge of systems involved with ESP services
  • Ability to establish and maintain productive relationships with outside agencies including hospitals, police, schools and insurance providers
  • Professional and therapeutic communicator while working with agitated or distressed clients

Required Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field required
  • Minimum of one-year experience in a mental health setting working in a crisis intervention setting.
