Housed within Aspire Health Alliance’s Emergency Services Program in Quincy, Intensive Community Support (ICS) is available to adults referred by the Department of Mental Health who have lost their housing, are experiencing a need for increased support, or are transitioning back into the community from a hospital setting. Staffed by a mental health worker, the open, five-bed residential unit provides clients with stability as they connect with the resources and services needed to achieve independent living. During their stay, clients participate in structured therapeutic activities between 9:00 and 5:00, while caseworkers provide support with medication management, appointment follow up, transportation, and other daily tasks necessary to successful transition.
