Instructors provide quality instruction for student learning and maintain a positive learning environment in the class. The major emphasis for instructors is on teaching and evaluating students in the course. Classes are taught in a variety of formats and at several different locations, as well as online. Instructors also communicate with students between classes and are responsible for several administrative duties such as reporting on academic activity and submitting final grades.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Planning and teaching classes as assigned and as outlined in the course descriptions and course syllabi and departmental guidelines.
2. Beginning and ending all classes as scheduled and covering all relevant learning outcomes for each course.
3. Maintaining academic standards and classroom behavior to ensure an environment conducive to learning, communicating with students weekly, and answering student emails in a timely manner.&nbsp;
4. Evaluating students using a variety of methods and informing each student of scores received on each assessment in a timely manner.
5. Using Cleveland State email for administrative purposes and responding to student questions via Cleveland State email in a timely manner.&nbsp;
6. Meeting deadlines for all administrative requests such as submitting personnel paperwork, acknowledging contracts, academic activity and assessment reports, and final grades.&nbsp;
7. Submitting requests through the department chair, program coordinator/director, or lead teacher for equipment, supplies, textbooks, and other instructional aids.
Qualifications:
A Master’s degree or higher in Criminal Justice, Criminology, or a qualifying field from a regionally accredited institution or Master’s degree with 18 graduate semester hours in any combination of related qualifying fields. Three years teaching experience preferred.&nbsp; Experience with alternative delivery instructional modes recommended – hybrid, online, interactive, etc.

JOB OBJECTIVE: This is a tenure-track position. The overall purpose of this job is to manage the Radiologic Technology program's clinical education component, ensuring compliance with JRCERT Standards and the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).  Duties include coordinating clinical schedules, supervising students and preceptors, evaluating clinical performance, serving as a liaison between the academic institution and clinical sites, contributing to accreditation processes, curriculum development, and student support. POSITION SUMMARY Provides general accounting and professional support in the Finance &amp; Accounting, Budget, and Bursar offices
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Performs a variety of complex administrative functions related to accounting operations. Assists with the preparation and review of Nashville State’s financial statements. Manages accounts payable transactions. Researches and resolves complex questions/issues regarding various accounting topics for the College. Assists with the preparation and review of Nashville State’s budget statements, with day-to-day operations within the Bursar’s office, and with grant management, invoicing, and reconciliations.

Job Summary
This is a full-time, tenure track, Faculty position in the Technologies Department. The faculty member is responsible for the coordination, planning, preparation, presentation, and evaluation of classroom instruction and related activities. The faculty member must be knowledgeable and able to instruct in the following technical subject areas: aerodynamics, meteorology, aircraft systems, safety management systems, airline industry, flight operations management, human factors, and aircraft structures. The individual must be able to conduct flight training on the simulators. The faculty member must be knowledgeable and able to instruct in the following technical subject areas: aerodynamics, meteorology, aircraft systems, safety management systems, airline industry, flight operations management, human factors, and aircraft structures. The individual must be able to conduct flight training on the simulators. The faculty member must be familiar with using a Learning Management System for conducting face-to-face and online classes. Job Duties

<li>Compiles, administers, evaluates, and grades students' class work, assignments, tests, and papers; and keeps students informed about their progress by observation and informs them of corrective measures necessary for skill improvement.</li>
<li>Participates in student advising on academic and vocational curricula and on career issues while utilizing all resources within the college for guidance of students.</li>

Job Summary
Reporting to the Dean of Technologies, the Culinary Arts Faculty is responsible for teaching an average of 15 credit hours each semester, including teaching at off-campus sites, high schools (dual enrollment/Middle College), or online as assigned. This Faculty member will also be involved with delivering and supporting Culinary Arts Workforce Development training. The faculty member will be responsible for supporting the Program Director in program coordination to include ordering of supplies, supervising internships, and overseeing capstone projects. They will also assist in the development and evaluation of curriculum, provide academic advisement for students, and promote communication with transfer institutions, professional associations, and other external constituents to support student success.
Job Duties

Job Summary
Reporting to the Aviation Program Director and the Dean of Technologies, the Aviation Faculty member is responsible for teaching a full range of college-level Aviation classes, including teaching at off-campus sites, high schools (dual enrollment/Middle College), or online as assigned. The primary responsibility will be teaching General Fundamentals Aviation courses to include dual enrollment. The faculty member will develop and teach traditional, online, and hybrid courses, as needed; be responsible for ordering equipment; help recruit and advise for the department; and perform all duties associated with community college faculty.
Job Duties
• Complete all required reports such as attendance and grade submissions.
• Complete annual performance review and maintain related records.
• Teach assigned courses via on ground, online, hybrid or web-enhanced modalities.
• Teach evening, weekend, off-campus, dual enrollment, and distance-based courses as required.
