About the role:

Logisnext's Sales Training Specialist is responsible for planning and executing effective and results-driven sales training to support Mitsubishi Logisnext America's Sales & Marketing strategy. Primary responsibilities are to educate, develop and train Logisnext's dealer network and internal sales team on our complete portfolio of products and solutions, in addition to training on relevant industry applications and principles. This role will help support the overarching training strategy through hands-on content development in addition to serving as a direct trainer and presenter. The position requires material handling and warehouse industry knowledge - in addition to excellence in communication, initiative, teamwork and a clear drive to develop an effective and motivated salesforce.. 

What you will do:

  • Support MLA's overarching Sales Training Program, that includes development of engaging and results-driven content.
  • Collaborate and support dealer / internal sales training initiatives, working alongside key stakeholders across multiple departments to achieve training goals and objectives.
  • Support development of new training tools to further enhance education and sales enablement.
  • Serve as a key subject matter expert and trainer on MLA's products, services and industry applications and competitors.
  • Support MLA's planned training programs and curriculum for Logsinext dealers and MLA sales team - ranging from e-learning, virtual and in-person - through delivery, presentation and execution of training.
  • Execute continuous internal team training for Product Marketing Managers to expand knowledge and department insights.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of competitive offerings and market pricing intelligence to ensure training content is relevant/current.
  • Support Product Marketing team in compiling and executing Competitive Testing and related activities to further enhance Logisnext's overall training program.


When & Where:

Hybrid position, requiring time in Houston for dedicated training sessions. Office environment.

Approximately 30% travel outside of Houston for dealer and related training program support.

What you need to have:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 10+ years of experience
  • Extensive knowledge of material handling equipment and applications, including previous experience in a sales, product marketing or training role.
  • Experience in development of powerful training programs (products and skills), and awareness of development and learning best practices.
  • Excellent communication, organization and teaching skills. Independent, self-motivated and driven with a positive, team-oriented style.
  • Utilizes a customer-centric approach to product consulting and training, and has excellent presentation skills.
  • Proven track record of creating effective, engaging and results-driven sales training content from the ground-up.
  • Detail oriented. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, while working across cross-functional teams.
  • Strong interpersonal skills. Exceptional listening, written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficient in Micosoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook.



What would be nice to have:

  • Previous experience with implementation of sales enablement programs, such as digital tool development, etc.
  • Experience with various e-learning platforms and administration.
  • Bi-lingual in English / Spanish is a plus, but not required.
