Overview

LMI is seeking a Senior Logistics Manager that support the missions and requirements of the US Coast Guard (USCG) Command, Control, Communications, Computer, Cyber, and Intelligence Service Center (C5ISC); the Coast Guard Chief Information Officer’s (CIO) Office, Commandant (CG-4, CG-6, CG-7, and CG-93); and Coast Guard Cyber Command (CGCYBER). The support services shall provide support for operations, management, analysis, and other business and logistics functions that support the successful accomplishment of C5ISC; CIO; CG-6; and CGCC missions and requirements across afloat, air, deployable specialized forces, and ashore platforms at multiple locations.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Team Lead to maximize the capabilities of each team member, as well as perform task organizing.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the Government and the Contractor to ensure all tasks are prioritized, completed on time, and of the highest quality.
  • Perform Configuration Management, Configuration Data Management, and Maintenance Data Management support for USCG Ashore and Afloat assets which are under the cognizance of CG-6, C5ISC, and or CGCC and as directed by the COR.
  • Provide Organizational level and Depot level support in the development, update Configuration Management System (CMS), and verification stages of Maintenance Standards (MS), Recurring Tasks (RT); (i.e., training, presentation of data, analysis, running reports, etc.), Maintenance Items (MI), Cutter Maintenance Plans (CMP), Maintenance Requirements Lists (MRL) and CM-SETs for all USCG Ashore and Afloat USCG assets listed.
  • Manage updates/changes/corrections to Configuration Item Functional Descriptions (CIFD) and its associated Configuration Item (CI), and the associated property values for the CIFD and/or CI as they relate to USCG supported assets.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Secret clearance is required.
  • Master’s degree.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in conducting logistical tasks for commercial or government organizations. An additional four years (14 years total) of experience can be substituted for a master’s degree.
  • Knowledge and experience of a broad range of policies, procedures and techniques related to inventory management in order to determine requirements, position/reposition items, initiate procurement, schedule maintenance and repair of items, and dispose of others.
  • Knowledge and experience of specialized methods and techniques used to analyze and evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of supply programs and/or operations.
  • Knowledge and experience of the organization, regulations, policies, and procedures of Coast Guard supply systems in order to accomplish material coordination responsibilities and make valid material management decisions.
  • Knowledge and experience of the technical features and uses of assigned equipment and their relationship to supply and demand condition in order to successfully manage items, coordinate supply/program support and resolve supply/program support problems.
  • Knowledge and experience of provisioning, transportation, storage, cataloging, maintenance, repair, and disposal in order to perform material management processes and make material management decisions.
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills (including Excel and SharePoint).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
