Are you ready to take on the challenge to help us build the future?<h4>Responsibilities</h4><ul><li>Delivers technical trainings on a wide range of solutions areas/ technologies</li><li>Develops, designs, and ensures quality of training materials; performs in the capacity of Technical Instructional Design Lead</li><li>Utilizes knowledge of training methodologies to plan and facilitates development of training solutions that drive department or Operating Unit outcomes</li><li>Monitors and documents user outcomes, needs assessment and learning objectives</li><li>Supports the implementation of training programs, delivery plans and documentation of user outcomes</li><li>Collaborates with cross functional stakeholders to understand to examine existing software and system training materials, identify gaps and develop an organized approach to development of training resources</li><li>Contributes to the identification and design of the technical training curriculum, balancing the needs of different functions</li><li>Ensures feedback is incorporated into the design, development or facilitation of future technical training programs, and that training interventions align both learner experience and department/Operating Unit needs</li><li>Conducts analyses on program effectiveness, reporting to department or Operating Unit leaders on results</li><li>Provides input on documentation of programs, curriculum, and outcome objectives; provides oversight and guidance to less experienced team members</li><li>A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.</li></ul><h4>Minimum Qualifications</h4><ul><li>Five or more years of experience supporting technical training learning initiatives</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Experience creating Competency-Based Training (CBT) and On-the-Job Training (OJT) frameworks. &nbsp;</li><li>Experience integrating Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), and interactive simulations into training programs.&nbsp;</li><li>Experience developing training for high-risk work environments, including safety regulations, compliance, and industry standards (e.g., OSHA, NFPA 70E, ANSI, NESC).&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Experience leading&nbsp;large-scale training initiatives, aligning programs with business goals, regulatory requirements, and workforce needs.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Experience working with craft employees.&nbsp; &nbsp;</li><li>Experience designing training and assessments that measure impact</li><li>Experience creating&nbsp;dashboards and analyzing&nbsp;workforce training data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Experience developing blended learning solutions such as&nbsp;instructor-led training (ILT), eLearning, simulations, and hands-on skill assessments&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Experience devloping learning assets using adult learning principles such as&nbsp;Bloom’s Taxonomy, ADDIE, and Kirkpatrick’s evaluation model.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li></ul>Additional Information<ul><li>This position’s work mode is&nbsp;hybrid.&nbsp;The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days.  Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and&nbsp;reside in the state of California.  Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage.&nbsp;The work mode can be changed based on business needs.</li><li>Visit our&nbsp;Candidate Resource page to get meaningful information related to benefits, perks, resources, testing information, hiring process, and more!</li><li>Qualified applications with arrest or conviction records will be considered for employment in accordance with the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers and the California Fair Chance Act.&nbsp;</li><li>Relocation does not apply to this position.</li></ul>About Southern California EdisonThe people at SCE don't just keep the lights on.
